This season we’re joining forces with Schauspiel Hannover, Slagwerk den Haag and Asko|Schonberg to invite you to Yara’s Wedding, and yesterday we started off by reading the script!
Based on Edward Saids Orientalism, our new NITE performance explores the idea of Orientalism and how East and West currently view each other.
Do we still look at the Other through colonial eyes? And what does the Other think of that? Where does curiosity end and exoticism begin?
